Environmental impact. Betz’s law and maximum efficiency of wind turbines. Power-speed
relations, power extracted from the wind, and maximum power operation.
Electrical integration of wind systems components. Wind generator drives and
speed control. Connecting wind energy systems to grid. Safety and maintenance
