Overview:

The department of Electrical Engineering Technology aims at graduating skillful, well–trained technicians needed by the State of Kuwait in the field of electrical machines, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, and renewable energy. This is achieved by teaching students the basic knowledge and technical skills in their perspective majors. Students will also acquire the ability to follow the fast progress in Electrical Engineering Technology and continue their academic study in both theoretical and practical aspects.

The department awards a Diploma degree in three majors:

• Electrical Machinery Engineering Technology.
  
• Electrical Energy Transmission and Distribution Engineering Technology.
• Renewable Energy Engineering Technology.
