the fundamentals of photoelectric conversion. Design and fabrication of
different solar cell and module technologies. Commercial and emerging
photovoltaic (PV) technologies. Circuit model of a PV cell, PV module and PV
array. Basics of PV site analysis, and load calculation. Various PV system
components and types. Electrical integration of system components. Residential
scale PV system and utility-scale (both on and off grid). Safety and
maintenance considerations
