​This course focuses on biomass and fuel cell technologies. The first part includes the development of biomass technologies. Topics covered includes, biomass sources and classification, chemical composition and properties of biomass, energy plantations, preparation of biomass, size reduction, briquetting of loose biomass, drying, storage and handling of biomass. The second part of the course includes fuel cells.
