Kuwait City

 is the capital and largest city of Kuwait. Located at the heart of the country on the south shore of Kuwait Bay on the Persian Gulf, it is the political, cultural and economic centre of the emirate, containing Kuwait's Seif Palace, government offices, and the headquarters of most Kuwaiti corporations and banks. It is one of the hottest cities in summer on earth, with average summer high temperatures over 45 °C (113 °F) for three months of the year


Al Salam Palace Museum-Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre

The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre is a multidisciplinary public space owned by the Amiri Diwan striving to entertain, educate and inspire the people of Kuwait. It will offer a range of events – in music, theatre, film, workshops and spoken word – for every generation and sector of society.


Al Shaheed Park

The park has stunning botanical gardens, two museums (Thekla and the Habitat), a visitor center, a lake, walkways, and jogging tracks, making it the largest urban park in Kuwait. The surrounding hills and woods help to muffle outside sounds, which makes the park more enjoyable for guests.


Souq Al-Mubarakiya

is a historic souq in Kuwait CityKuwait.[1] It is one of the oldest souqs in Kuwait, and was a center of trade prior to the discovery of oil.

This popular traditional market is located in Kuwait City, between Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Abdullah Al-Salem & Palestine Streets. This market has been around for at least 200 years.



Assima Mall


The six level Assima Mall will feature a mix of brands from contemporary to high street and also include the largest hypermarket in the city.


Avenues Mall

The Avenues Mall is the largest shopping mall in Kuwait. The mall is located in the Rai area extending from Fifth Ring Road from the south and Al Ghazali Highway from the east. It opened in April 2007, under the patronage of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah.


Bait Al-Othman Museum

Bait Al-Othman is a historic museum in Kuwait located in Hawalli.Inaugurated by the Amir of Kuwait in April 2013, the museum is dedicated to the history and culture of Kuwait from the pre-oil era to present time. The museum hosts numerous historical items and antiques of pre-oil Kuwait. Housh (courtyard), diwaniyas, muqallatt, kitchen, living room, master's bedroom and visitors’ room can all be seen. There are mini museums within the museum such as the Kuwait Drama Museum, Kuwait House Museum, Heritage Hall, Kuwaiti Souq, and Journey of Life Museum.


Failaka Island

General Site Description: A medium-sized island, 20km north-east of Kuwait City that is largely deserted. Failaka has quite a different ecosystem to mainland Kuwait, and its budding flowers and changing temperatures are much appreciated by locals.


Arabian Gulf Road

is the most prominent road in Kuwait, located in the capital of the country, Kuwait City


Jahra Nature Reserve

This fenced nature reserve features a number of shallow pools surrounded by extensive Phragmites reed beds, salt marshes, scattered tamarisk thickets and sandy sabkha flats. Although this is Kuwait’s largest inland marsh, the pools are totally man-made and fed by effluent from Jahra, including treated sewage water.


Al Khuran Mall 

Al Khiran is a mixed-use development located in the heart of the Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City. The 70,000 square meter multi-use waterfront complex includes a five-star resort, 300 retail stores, tempting restaurants, a shopping mall, two residential towers, one furnished apartment tower, and a 900-berth luxury marina.


Kubbar Island

Kubbar  is a sandy island of Kuwait in the Persian Gulf, covered with shrub. It is located roughly 30 kilometers off the southern coast of Kuwait and 29 kilometres off the coast of Failaka. The island is nearly circular, with a diameter of 370 to 380 meters, corresponding to an area of about 11 ha.


Kuwait Towers
The Kuwait Towers, with their distinctive blue-green 'sequins', are the instantly recognisable symbols of the nation. Designed by a Swedish architectural firm, they opened in 1979. The largest of the three rises to a height of 187m. Guests can visit a gift shop, viewing platform and an international buffet restaurant.


360 Mall

360 Mall is a shopping mall located on the Sixth Ring Highway in the South Surra, Kuwait that opened on 5 July 2009.[1][2] The mall has a circular design, and its name 360 is derived from the circular design of the complex, and its design follows the modern architectural design of the exterior and interior.



Marina Crescent

Marina Crescent in Salmiya, Kuwait, offers a picturesque promenade perfect for leisurely walks. As you stroll along the paved pathway, you'll be greeted with sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf on one side and an array of upscale cafes and restaurants on the other. It's an ideal setting for a relaxed evening where you can soak in the ambiance and enjoy the cool sea breeze. Children can play in nearby playgrounds, making this an enjoyable experience for families. Throughout the year, Marina Crescent hosts various public events and activities, from festivals to outdoor exhibitions, adding to its vibrant atmosphere. The duration of your walk can vary, but a leisurely pace might take you around an hour to cover the full length of the Crescent and back, giving you plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the scenery.

National Libary of Kuwait

The National Library of Kuwait is the national library and legal deposit and copyright library for Kuwait. It was founded in 1923 through the efforts of several Kuwaiti writers, and received its collection from the library of the Kuwaiti Charitable Society, which was founded in 1913


Qaruh Island

It is the smallest of the nine islands, and also the furthest island from the Kuwaiti mainland. It is located 37.5 kilometres east of the mainland coast, and 17 kilometres northeast of Umm al Maradim. The island is roughly 275 meters long by 175 meters at its widest (area about 3.5 ha.



Sadu House

Sadu House, a traditional Kuwaiti house, was built in 1936 by the head of an affluent family, Youssef Al Marzouk. The house overlooked the seafront and incorporated four open courtyards with many Indian decorative influences. In the 1970s, the State purchased the house under the Ministry of Information and later was acquired by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters. In 1980, it embraced the weaving tradition and became the home of weavings and textiles – Sadu House.




Scientific Center Kuwait

The Scientific Center Kuwait (TSCK) was borne from the vision of His Highness the former Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (God rest his soul), who was inspired to build a center that excites children and adults alike about the wonders of science and encourages them to innovate in and engage with the various scientific fields, to help build a sustainable future for the country of the State of Kuwait. As such, the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences was tasked with creating a hub where people of all ages and backgrounds could come together in the interest of science and its role in our futures.



Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway

The Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway is a causeway in Kuwait with an estimated construction value, the causeway is part of the first phase of the Silk City project.[6] The causeway spans the Bay of Kuwait in two directions and comprises two projects: Main Link, which connects Kuwait City with northern Kuwait (including Subiya and Bubiyan Island); and Doha Link, which connects Kuwait City with Doha. It crosses two artificial islands (Bay Island North and Bay Island South) which were constructed for entertainment and tourism purposes.[7] The causeway project is part of Kuwait Vision 2035.



Souk Sharq

The Souk Sharq is a major shopping center in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The center began as a traditional souq but as the city has undergone investment it has expanded into a modernized shopping mall of approximately 55,567 m² area.



The American Culture- Dar Al Athar al Islamiyyah

Dar al Athar al Islamiyyah is a cultural organization operating several cultural centers in Kuwait. The organization has a collection of more than 20,000 items of rare Islamic art.
