Industrial Institute (Sabah Al Salem)
Introduction:
Since its establishment, the State of Kuwait has focused on industrial and educational professions which has shaped a generation trained for industrial occupations.
This distinction since the Fifties has led to the emergence of many of the technical institutes and colleges and has only strengthened in number and quality with the establishment of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in 1982 and their accession under its supervision, through which the Industrial Institute in Sabah Al-Salem was established.
Industrial Institute:
The industrial institute was established in 1992 in the district of Sabah Al Salem in collaboration with the German Foundation for Technical Cooperation (G.T.Z) which is classified as one of the most distinguished global educational institutes worldwide. The main aim of the institute is to prepare the students and qualify them to fill the need for technicians in the country and to contribute to developing manpower in the various economic sectors.
The institute is equipped with state of the art German training equipment and instruments and is considered one of the most modern institutes in the Middle East. The curriculum, translated from German, is taught at the institute to all majors and concentrations, prepared in collaboration with a group of engineers working in the training sector of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training.
