1- Creation and development of programs and curricula:
Water resources department recently created new program "Operating and Monitoring the Efficiency and Quality of Water Systems" to keep up with sustainable development requirements .This program aims to preserve natural resources and benefits of the current and future generations .The program also includes several courses related to the environment, health and safety, in addition to the use of technology in following-up Consumption, solving leakage problems and operating efficiency.
2- Improving and developing educational and training techniques
The ongoing process of developing new educational and training techniques and improving the current facilities , the department continuously improve and upgrade the workshops and laboratories equipment the last was installing new 3D distillation simulator .
3- Community activities and partnership
Water resource department has close relation with many external authorities and community parties such as Kuwait Water Association , Kuwaiti engineering syndicate and Kuwait Institute For Scientific Research.The department organized and contributed in many training programs with different parties to help in increasing the community awareness and understanding of importance of natural resources sustainability and future perspectives .
