The College of Nursing offers four full-time undergraduate programs, namely: The Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor Degree in Nursing Sciences. These programs are separately offered for male and female students in a single campus. The major departments/units functioning under the college are: Associate Degree Department, Bachelor of Science Department, Biomedical Science Unit, English Language Unit, and General Science Unit .
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program consists of 77 credit hours distributed into two and a half years of five levels or semesters.
Graduates from Associate Degree in Nursing program can continue their education to obtain a Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing degree. Special bridging program has been designed to build on their previous knowledge and skills. Credit is given towards the Bachelor' Degree for some of the courses completed in the ADN program, this enables them to complete the Bachelor of Nursing Degree program in minimum period. The department is responsible for coordinating the courses required for the ADN programs among the different departments. Courses common for the different programs are offered together for students from different programs, while program specific courses are separately offered.
