The course covers principles of testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of the HVAC&R systems including such as central package units, chillers, commercial refrigeration and related equipment’s. It also covers testing, adjusting, and balancing of air distribution system (CAV&VAV) devices such as, ductworks, air handling units, condensing units, fans, motors, coils etc. The hydronic systems include water distribution according to the design requirement of each equipment via Air Handling Units and Fan coil Units etc. in particular zone will be involved. Methods of air balancing in central A/C systems and manage energy consumption will be covered. It also covers the demonstration of instruments usage necessary for TAB works. The TAB report encompassing, testing and adjusting procedures includes noise, pressures, velocities, CFM, temperatures, subcooling, superheat, etc. Actual sample of commercial and industrial HVAC&R contracts and its specifications in Kuwait will be analyzed.
