This course covers physical properties of fluids, pressure measuring devices, and continuity equation, Bernoulli’s equation and its applications, compressible &incompressible flow. The course also covers pressure drops through piping, fittings, valves, nozzles, diffusers, etc. Also, the course covers pure substance phase diagrams, description and different related tables. Ideal gas relations, first law of thermodynamics principles and its applications for open and closed systems will be included. The second law of thermodynamics, entropy, reversibility and Carnot cycle will be covered.
