A continuation of 75- 211 with the introduction of the theory and application of spectroscopic methods for the analysis of molecular structures using spectrophotometers (UV, VIS, and IR), chromatographs (GC and HPLC). Laboratory exercises will emphasize the simple preparation and use of spectrophotometers, chromatographs and atomic spectroscopy.
