The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training has achieved a new achievement that adds to a series of its continuous efforts to improve the quality of education, by developing the automated academic guide system known as (e.advisor) as the first project of its kind in higher education institutions in Kuwait,
The primary goal of the electronic guide is to help students of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in finding appropriate disciplines, and to make different platforms and screens for the student and all the specialists in the authority and followers to collect the academic student, as it contributes to enabling students to succeed and graduate at the specified time.
As the authority faces a large number of defaulters and dropouts, and one of the main reasons is the lack of academic guidance, the Information Technology Center has developed this system to solve students' problems with registration. The e-advisor system automatically guides students and identifies defects in their study plans and line Their academic career and provide an advanced guidance environment, in addition to the system’s contribution to students ’follow-up by the counseling offices to determine the deficiencies in student registration and fix them in time to reduce their incidence in problems that might lead to their dropout, In addition, the system contributes to giving senior management and decision-makers a comprehensive and complete picture of the level of student performance, which contributes to setting policies to develop their performance in addition to contributing to making strategic decisions to develop and control the quality of education. In addition, the system contains communication tools by e-mail or e-mail to ensure continuous communication with students in real time.
The e-guide system (e.advisor) is one of the advanced systems in the authority and was specially developed to contribute to controlling the quality of education, which is one of the strategic goals of the authority.
In addition to the web environment on which the e-Advisor system works, the team worked on developing it to work on the Apple IOS device environment as well as the Android environment.
