Prof.Tarek Sayed	Prof. Tarek Sayed is a distinguished professor and a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair of Transportation Safety and Advanced Mobility at the University of British Columbia. He has a distinguished research track record in transportation engineering and has received a high number of honors and awards. Dr. Sayed received the Prince Michael International Road Safety Award for the most outstanding international road safety initiative. During his research activities, he has addressed a wide spectrum of transportation system applications with a focus on traffic operation and safety, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and the application of information technologies. Prof. Khair S. Jadaan	Prof. Jadaan is an international expert in road engineering and measuring development impacts. Highly recognized professional with global and local expertise in transportation-related engineering projects, studies planning and management for governments, international and local organizations, Visiting Professor at several famous international universities. An expert of measuring developmental impacts for projects. He has worked with many Arabic, regional and international companies. He has prepared and supervised a number of studies, research and graduation projects with more than 250 publications in the field of road and transport engineering. بروفسور خير جدعان هو خبير دولي في هندسة سلامة الطرق والتنمية المستدامة، ويتمتع بخبرة عالمية ومحلية في المشاريع الهندسية المتعلقة بالنقل وتخطيط الدراسات الإستراتيجية للحكومات والمنظمات الدولية والمحلية، أستاذ زائر في العديد من الجامعات العالمية الشهيرة. خبير في قياس الأثر التنموي للمشاريع. عمل مع العديد من الشركات العربية والإقليمية والعالمية. قام بإعداد والإشراف على عدد من الدراسات والأبحاث ومشاريع التخرج بما يزيد عن 250 ورقة علمية في مجال هندسة الطرق والنقل.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Yagout	Dr. Mohammed AbdulRaheem Al-Yagout is a faculty member at Kuwait University in civil engineering department. He received his BS in Architecture Engineering from University of Miami, Florida,USA in 1995 and then he received his and MS and PhD from University of Washington, U.S.A. in 1999 and 2004, respectively. He is a consultant at the Ministry of Public works الدكتور محمد عبد الرحيم الياقوت عضو هيئة التدريس بجامعة الكويت قسم الهندسة المدنية. حصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المعمارية من جامعة ميامي، فلوريدا من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عام 1995 و حصل على الماجستير عام 1999 والدكتوراه عام 2004 من جامعة واشنطن، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية , وهو مستشار في وزارة الأشغال العامة.
Dr. Safaa Zaman	Dr. Safaa Zaman is a faculty member at Kuwait University in Information Sciences. She received his BS and MS from Kuwait University in 1999 and 2001, respectively. She received her PhD in computer engineering from Waterloo University - Canada in 2005 in Information Security – Intrusion Detection Systems. She is currently assistant professor in Information Sciences at Kuwait University. Her Research focuses on is information privacy and network security, Intrusion Detection Systems, intelligent systems for assisted secure communication, robustness of social networks and recovery systems, and the security of iCloud, The Effects of Human Factor Dynamics in Cyber Security. الدكتورة صفاء زمان هي عضو هيئة تدريس بجامعة الكويت في علوم المعلومات. حصلت على البكالوريوس عام 1999 والماجستير عام 2001 من جامعة الكويت. حصلت على درجة الدكتوراه في هندسة الكمبيوتر من جامعة وترلو (Waterloo) كندا عام 2005 في أمن المعلومات – أنظمة كشف التسلل في الحاسب الآلي. وهي حاليا أستاذ مساعد في علوم المعلومات في جامعة الكويت. لها عدة أبحاث في خصوصية المعلومات وأمن الشبكات، وأنظمة كشف التسلل، والأنظمة الذكية للاتصالات الآمنة، وقوة الشبكات الاجتماعية وأنظمة الاسترداد، وأمن الايكلاود (iCloud) ، وتأثيرات الحركية من العامل البشري في الأمن السيبراني.
Dr. Ahmad AlRushaidan	Dr. Ahmad AlRushaidan is a faculty member at Kuwait University in Civil Engineering Department since 2018. He received his BS from University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014 and MS from University of Texas at Austin 2015. He received his PhD in civil engineering from University of Texas at Austin in 2018 University of Texas at Austin. الدكتور أحمد الرشيدان هو عضو هيئة تدريس في جامعة الكويت ,قسم الهندسة المدنية. حصل على درجة البكالوريوس من جامعة تكساس في سان أنطونيو عام 2014 والماجستير من جامعة تكساس في أوستن عام 2015. حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة المدنية تخصص هندسة نقل من جامعة تكساس في أوستن في 2018
Dr. Adel Al-Yousefi	Dr. Adel Al-Yousefi is an academic and researcher in traffic affairs. He obtained a doctorate in traffic management from the American University of London in the United Kingdom in 2002. Dr. Adel served on many committees on departments and ministries such as Public Authority for Minor Affairs, Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority and Kuwait airways. Dr. Adel is the First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Issa Hussein Al-Yousifi and Sons Trading and Contracting Company. الدكتور عادل اليوسفي أكاديمي وباحث في الشؤون المرورية. حصل على درجة الدكتوراه في إدارة المرور من الجامعة الأمريكية في لندن بالمملكة المتحدة عام 2002. عمل الدكتور عادل في العديد من اللجان في الإدارات والوزارات مثل الهيئة العامة لشؤون القصر وهيئة تشجيع الاستثمار المباشر الكويتية والخطوط الجوية الكويتية. الدكتور عادل هو النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب لشركة عيسى حسين اليوسفي وأولاده للتجارة العامة والمقاولات
Dr. Ahmad Al-Shatti	Dr Ahmad Al-Shatti is a consultant physician in public health, in Occupational and Environmental medicine. Currently he is the director of EMS Emergency Medical services. Previously he served as: Director of occupational health department, Ahmadi health area, Sabah medical specialization area and the Ex-spokesperson of ministry of Health. He is a senior lecturer in Kuwait faculty of medicine and faculty of public health at Kuwait university. He is chairperson of (KSOEM) Kuwait Society of Occupational and Environmental medicine. Regionally he is the Ex- coordinator for GCCc OH&S Committee. He is STC Short term consultant in occupational health and safety and environmental health and CBI health city project in both WHO and ILO. Dr Shatti is the secretary General of Ghiras the Kuwait Awareness Association against drugs الدكتور أحمد الشطي طبيب استشاري في الصحة العامة، في الطب المهني والبيئي. يشغل حاليًا منصب مدير خدمات الطوارئ الطبية EMS. مديرسابق لإدارة الصحة المهنية، منطقة الأحمدي الصحية، منطقة صباح التخصصية الطبية والمتحدث الرسمي السابق لوزارة الصحة. وهو محاضر أول في كلية الطب الكويتية وكلية الصحة العامة في جامعة الكويت. وهو رئيس (KSOEM) الجمعية الكويتية للطب المهني والبيئي. وعلى المستوى الإقليمي، يشغل منصب المنسق للجنة السلامة والصحة المهنية بدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. وهو مستشار لشركة STC في مجال الصحة والسلامة المهنية والصحة البيئية ومشروع المدينة الصحية CBI في كل من منظمة الصحة العالمية ومنظمة العمل الدولية. الدكتور احمد الشطي هو الامين العام لجمعية غراس الكويتية للتوعية ضد المخدرات.
Brigadier Khalid Al-Adwani	Brigadier Khalid Al-Adwani is the director of the Technical Office at the Traffic Department at the ministry of interior of Kuwait. He served as a head of the technical office in the office of the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs. In addition, he worked as former secretary of the supreme traffic council from 2016 to 2022. Al-Adwani is currently the director of the technical office administration in the traffic affairs and operations sector. العميد خالد العدواني هو مدير المكتب الفني بإدارة المرور بوزارة الداخلية الكويتية. شغل منصب رئيس المكتب الفني في مكتب الوكيل المساعد لشؤون المرور والعمليات. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، عمل أميناً سابقاً للمجلس الأعلى للمرور من عام 2016 إلى عام 2022. ويشغل العدواني حالياً منصب مدير إدارة المكتب الفني في قطاع الشؤون والعمليات المرورية
Eng. Mai AL-Mosaad	Mai Al Mesad worked as the undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works. She began working at the Ministry of Public Works since 1997. With experience in both Maintenance and Roads Sectors, she Joined Jaber causeway since 2010, during design stage. Later, she got assigned to be responsible for the consultancy agreement of concept design, and then assigned to be Project Engineer of Shaikh Jaber Causeway (Main Link), the project which was considered as the fourth longest causeway in the world started the construction at end of 2013 and opened successfully on May 2019. Mai Almesad received a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, College of Engineering and Petroleum, Kuwait University in June 1997, and a Masters Degree of Science in Civil Engineering from Kuwait University, December 2000.
Dr. Ahmed Halawani	Dr. Halawani is an Assistant Professor of Transportation Engineering and the Vice Dean of the College of Engineering at Taibah University, as well as the former Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department. In addition to his academic roles, he is a certified Road Safety Professional (RSP), highlighting his commitment to and expertise in road safety. Dr. Halawani is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with extensive experience in various areas, including Mobility Sensing and Prediction, Multimodal Transportation Planning, Systemic Safety Analysis, Smart Sustainable Cities, and Smart Mobility. الدكتور أحمد حلواني هو أستاذ مساعد في هندسة النقل ونائب عميد كلية الهندسة بجامعة طيبة في المدينة المنورة، وكذلك رئيس قسم الهندسة المدنية الأسبق. بالإضافة إلى أدواره الأكاديمية، فهو محترف معتمد في مجال السلامة على الطرق (RSP). الدكتور حلواني هو أيضًا مهندس محترف مرخص (PE) يتمتع بخبرة واسعة في مجالات مختلفة، بما في ذلك استشعار التنقل والتنبؤ به، وتخطيط النقل متعدد الوسائط، وتحليل السلامة النظامية، والمدن الذكية المستدامة، والتنقل الذكي.
Qout Al-Mekhled	Qout Al-Mekhled is a teaching assistant at the College of Public Health – Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences She received a B.S. degree of applied science from Kuwait University in 2011, Faculty of science (Biochemistry), and MSc in Public Health Nutrition from University of Southampton in 2012. She works as a research assistant on-road risk in Kuwait from the year 2011-2015 with Dr. Darline at the faculty of public health practice at Kuwait University. قوت المخلد مدرس مساعد في كلية الصحة العامة – قسم العلوم الاجتماعية والسلوكية. حاصلة على درجة العلوم التطبيقية من جامعة الكويت عام 2011، كلية العلوم (الكيمياء الحيوية)، وماجستير في تغذية الصحة العامة من جامعة ساوثمبتون عام 2012. عملت كمساعد باحث في مخاطر الطرق في الكويت من عام 2011-2015 مع الدكتور دارلين في كلية الصحة العامة بجامعة الكويت
Dr. Mahdi Shehab	Dr. Mahdi Shehab obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University, USA in June 1996, a Master's of Science degree in civil engineering – transportation from the University of Missouri – Columbia, USA in June 2000, and a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering – transportation from the University of Southampton, UK in July 2007. He has conducted research in the field of traffic safety for his master's thesis and in the field of microscopic traffic flow for his Ph.D. thesis. He has conducted research concerning aberrant driving behaviors in Kuwait, seatbelt use, and speeding behaviors. His current research interests include driving behavior, traffic flow, and traffic safety. Dr. Shehab is a member of the Kuwait Society for Engineers. حصل الدكتور مهدي شهاب على بكالوريوس العلوم في الهندسة المعمارية من جامعة ولاية كانساس بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في يونيو 1996، ودرجة الماجستير في علوم الهندسة المدنية – في مجال النقل من جامعة ميسوري – كولومبيا بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في يونيو 2000، ودرجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة المدنية من جامعة ساوثمبتون بالمملكة المتحدة في يوليو 2007. أجرى العديد من الابحاث في مجال السلامة المرورية وفي مجال تدفق حركة المرور بالإضافة الى أبحاث تتعلق بسلوكيات قائدي المركبات في الكويت، واستخدام حزام الأمان، وسلوكيات السرعة. وتشمل اهتماماته البحثية الحالية سلوك القيادة، وتدفق حركة المرور، والسلامة المرورية
Dr. Jasem Alrajhi	Dr. Jasem Alrajhi is a faculty member (associate professor) at the Public Authority of Applied Education and Training (PAAET) at College of Technological Studies – Automotive and Marine Department. Dr. Jasem received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Monash University Australia in 2006. He is interested in road and car accidents, and now he is interested in electric car and train accidents. In the field of training, he is interested in development and leadership, as well as specialized scientific courses such as how to obtain a doctorate, a course on how to evaluate scientific research, and a course on imagining accidents. الدكتور جاسم الراجحي هو عضو هيئة تدريس (أستاذ مشارك) في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في كلية الدراسات التكنولوجية – قسم السيارات والبحرية. حصل الدكتور جاسم على درجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة الميكانيكية من جامعة موناش - أستراليا عام 2006. وهو مهتم بحوادث الطرق والسيارات، والآن يهتم بحوادث السيارات الكهربائية والقطارات. وفي مجال التدريب يهتم بالتطوير والقيادة وكذلك له دورات علمية متخصصة مثل كيفية الحصول على الدكتوراه، ودورة كيفية تقييم البحث العلمي، ودورة تصور الحوادث

With experience in both Maintenance and Roads Sectors, she Joined Jaber causeway since 2010, during design stage. Later, she got assigned to be responsible for the consultancy agreement of concept design, and then assigned to be Project Engineer of Shaikh Jaber Causeway (Main Link), the project which was considered as the fourth longest causeway in the world started the construction at end of 2013 and opened successfully on May 2019. Mai Almesad received a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, College of Engineering and Petroleum, Kuwait University in June 1997, and a Masters Degree of Science in Civil Engineering from Kuwait University, December 2000.

Dr. Ahmed Halawani

Dr. Halawani is an Assistant Professor of Transportation Engineering and the Vice Dean of the College of Engineering at Taibah University, as well as the former Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department. In addition to his academic roles, he is a certified Road Safety Professional (RSP), highlighting his commitment to and expertise in road safety. Dr. Halawani is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with extensive experience in various areas, including Mobility Sensing and Prediction, Multimodal Transportation Planning, Systemic Safety Analysis, Smart Sustainable Cities, and Smart Mobility.

Qout Al-Mekhled

Qout Al-Mekhled is a teaching assistant at the College of Public Health – Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences She received a B.S. degree of applied science from Kuwait University in 2011, Faculty of science (Biochemistry), and MSc in Public Health Nutrition from University of Southampton in 2012. She works as a research assistant on-road risk in Kuwait from the year 2011-2015 with Dr. Darline at the faculty of public health practice at Kuwait University.

Dr. Mahdi Shehab

Dr. Mahdi Shehab obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University, USA in June 1996, a Master's of Science degree in civil engineering – transportation from the University of Missouri – Columbia, USA in June 2000, and a Ph.D. degree in civil engineering – transportation from the University of Southampton, UK in July 2007. He has conducted research in the field of traffic safety for his master's thesis and in the field of microscopic traffic flow for his Ph.D. thesis. He has conducted research concerning aberrant driving behaviors in Kuwait, seatbelt use, and speeding behaviors. His current research interests include driving behavior, traffic flow, and traffic safety. Dr. Shehab is a member of the Kuwait Society for Engineers.

حصل الدكتور مهدي شهاب على بكالوريوس العلوم في الهندسة المعمارية من جامعة ولاية كانساس بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في يونيو 1996، ودرجة الماجستير في علوم الهندسة المدنية – في مجال النقل من جامعة ميسوري – كولومبيا بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في يونيو 2000، ودرجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة المدنية من جامعة ساوثمبتون بالمملكة المتحدة في يوليو 2007. أجرى العديد من الابحاث في مجال السلامة المرورية وفي مجال تدفق حركة المرور بالإضافة الى أبحاث تتعلق بسلوكيات قائدي المركبات في الكويت، واستخدام حزام الأمان، وسلوكيات السرعة. وتشمل اهتماماته البحثية الحالية سلوك القيادة، وتدفق حركة المرور، والسلامة المرورية

Dr. Jasem Alrajhi

Dr. Jasem Alrajhi is a faculty member (associate professor) at the Public Authority of Applied Education and Training (PAAET) at College of Technological Studies – Automotive and Marine Department. Dr. Jasem received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Monash University Australia in 2006. He is interested in road and car accidents, and now he is interested in electric car and train accidents. In the field of training, he is interested in development and leadership, as well as specialized scientific courses such as how to obtain a doctorate, a course on how to evaluate scientific research, and a course on imagining accidents.

الدكتور جاسم الراجحي هو عضو هيئة تدريس (أستاذ مشارك) في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في كلية الدراسات التكنولوجية – قسم السيارات والبحرية. حصل الدكتور جاسم على درجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة الميكانيكية من جامعة موناش - أستراليا عام 2006. وهو مهتم بحوادث الطرق والسيارات، والآن يهتم بحوادث السيارات الكهربائية والقطارات. وفي مجال التدريب يهتم بالتطوير والقيادة وكذلك له دورات علمية متخصصة مثل كيفية الحصول على الدكتوراه، ودورة كيفية تقييم البحث العلمي، ودورة تصور الحوادث
