Production and Exporting

Program Educational Objectives

The program aims at giving the students the knowledge and technological skills that prepare them to:

1.     Function effectively as technicians in the production and exporting field of petroleum engineering technology, (dismantle, assemble, specify, install, operate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain production and exporting equipment/systems),

2.     Solve problems related to the workplace through application of their technical capabilities in production and exporting engineering technology,

3.     Communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing,

4.     Demonstrate professional and ethical behavior, and

5.     Continue their professional advancement through life-long learning opportunities and in-service training.

Program Student Outcomes

A.   Apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve well-defined petroleum engineering technology problems in the field of production and exporting.

B.    Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with engineering design of systems, components, or processes in the working sites of gathering centers, storages, and export facilities.

C.    Apply written, oral, and graphical communication in well-defined technical and non-technical environments; and identify and use appropriate technical literature.

D.   Conduct standard tests, measurements, and experiments and analyze and interpret the results.
